At Spirit Ink, we’re committed to full transparency—both in our supply chain and in how pricing is structured. As an agent operating on behalf of schools, we clearly break down costs so everyone understands where the money goes.

We start with the supplier’s base price—for example, a t-shirt that costs us £8.65. We then add a service fee that covers our costs such as website maintenance, transaction fees, product development, and salaries. This fee also allows us to maintain a modest profit so we can continue investing in our mission to support schools.

The school, as the principal seller, sets the final retail price and has the option to apply a markup of 20%, 40%, or 60%. All additional funds from the school’s markup go directly to supporting their initiatives and programs. In some cases, parents can also choose to “name their price” to contribute more if they wish.
